Manchester City
Liverpool
Over 2.5 goals (-200) vs Liverpool
Over 2.5 goals (-200) vs Liverpool
Proj: --
Targeting the overs in Liverpool games this season has been easy pickings, with over 2.5 goals landing in 12 of their 17 games in all competitions. Man City’s record is a far less reliable eight from16, and this is a fixture that often results in low-scoring contests, but this isn’t a normal Man City vs Liverpool game. Far from usually a tense affair that could go a long way to deciding the title race, this time it’s a game between two teams for whom a draw is no good as it gives Arsenal a bigger jumpstart. Expect goals on Sunday.

Sunderland
Arsenal
Arsenal to win (-250) vs Arsenal
Arsenal to win (-250) vs Arsenal
Proj: --
It is difficult at the moment to score against Arsenal, let alone take points off them, so this substandard Sunderland attack isn't going to be able to trouble the Gunners. The Arsenal attack has been a lot more consistent this season following their summer additions, so the question mark of will they find the back of the net has disappeared. This should be an easy test for the league leaders.

West Ham
Burnley
Under 2.5 goals (-110) vs Burnley
Under 2.5 goals (-110) vs Burnley
Proj: --
West Ham got off the mark under Nuno Espirito Santo last time out with a deserved 3-1 win over Newcastle, and they will look to extend that when Burnley come to town.
Burnley’s modus operandi is to keep things fairly tight and hope they nick a goal or two, and the Hammers are likely to be a similar team under Nuno. Between them, the two teams have scored 22 goals in 20 Premier League games. This could be one for the purists.
Benfica
Bayer Leverkusen
Benfica to win (+110) vs Bayer Leverkusen
Benfica to win (+110) vs Bayer Leverkusen
Proj: --
Benfica could scarcely have made a worse start to this season’s Champions League after suffering three losses in three games, but the good news is that their domestic form remains strong, and Bayer Leverkusen are also struggling.
The Bundesliga side were humiliated 7-2 at home to PSG two weeks ago and were comfortably dispatched by Bayern Munich at the weekend, so they will have their work cut out against a Benfica side that is unbeaten at home since Jose Mourinho took over.
PSG
Bayern Munich
PSG to win (+150) vs Bayern Munich
PSG to win (+150) vs Bayern Munich
Proj: --
Bayern Munich have been in irresistible form this season, winning nine from nine in the Bundesliga, conceding just four goals in the process. They have also won three from three in the Champions League.
They come up against their biggest test of the season in PSG, and the biggest knock on Bayern over the last few seasons is they can beat the teams they are supposed to but not the biggest teams in Europe. We’re willing to bet that happens again vs the European champions.

West Ham
Newcastle
Newcastle to win (-150) vs Newcastle
Newcastle to win (-150) vs Newcastle
Proj: --
That the odds aren’t more in Newcastle’s favour is somewhat surprising considering West Ham have one win and seven defeats from their opening nine games this season. The Magpies started the season slowly but now have won five of their last six, conceding just two goals in that timeframe.
The change of manager at West Ham to Nuno Espirito Santo doesn’t appear to have changed much, so we expect a Newcastle win.

Liverpool
Aston Villa
Liverpool to win (-150) vs Aston Villa
Liverpool to win (-150) vs Aston Villa
Proj: --
Liverpool are in all sorts of trouble at the moment. After a run of seven straight wins to open their season, they’re now on a run of six defeats in their last seven in all competitions. Villa’s season is the inverse of that, with a slow start making way to a very strong recent run of form. This has the look of a get-right game for Liverpool. They’re unbeaten in their last 10 games against Villa and have won six of their last seven games against them at home. Back the Reds to get back on track.

Fulham
Wolves
Fulham To Win (-115) vs Wolves
Fulham To Win (-115) vs Wolves
Proj: --
It’s a relegation six-pointer in west London on Saturday as Fulham take on Wolves, and the hosts look good value to win for the first time in over a month against one of the three teams with fewer points than them. Marco Silva’s men have lost four in a row, but three of those have been away and the other was at home to Arsenal.
A change of manager could soon be in the offing for Wolves, who have just two points so far and have scored just a single goal on the road this season.

Aston Villa
Manchester City
Man City to win (-120) vs Manchester City
Man City to win (-120) vs Manchester City
Proj: --
Aston Villa’s recent run of good form came to an end on Thursday when they lost to Go Ahead Eagles in the Europa League. On Sunday, they face a Man City side that’s won seven of their last nine in all competitions and crucially, they’ll need to stop Erling Haaland. The Norwegian striker is averaging almost 1.5 goals per game in the Premier League this season and should be able to fire the Cityzens to another victory.

Chelsea
Sunderland
Chelsea to win (-250) vs Sunderland
Chelsea to win (-250) vs Sunderland
Proj: --
After breezing past Ajax in the Champions League Chelsea come into this fixture off the back of four straight wins with Maresca looking like he is getting a real tune out of his side at the moment. Although Sunderland sit in 7th place in the table, they have benefited from a very kind fixture schedule, seemingly only playing teams in the midst of crisis so far this season. This will be a real test for the Black Cats, and one they won’t pass.
